Ароз Калдо. Arroz Caldo.

Филиппинское блюдо из курицы с рисом.
Употребляется филиппинцами чаще всего в тех же случаях, что и куриный бульон у нас. При болезни.
Дочка сегодня сделала на ужин. С ЦЗ рисом. Вкууусно очень.
Но вот когда я попросила её написать рецепт... мне выдали в мессенджере это.
Сорри, переводить здоровья не хватит ;)

Take big pot
heat 8 cups of chicken broth in it
just to make it hot. no biggie. set that aside.
then take your bigger pot.
just to have it, you're not using it yet.
go cut up some stuff.
stuff i suggest includes, but is not limited to: some ginger, garlic, and some badass onion
the proportions are up to you
i suggest about half a cup (or a little more) of each
mince ittt (except for the onion, u can make that big because onion is YUMMY)
now pour 2 to 4 teaspoons of oil in your big pot
and throw all those veggies in it
cook 'em for like... a minute.
just so the kitchen starts to smell good
then throw the chicken in, if the chicken is breast or thigh, cut it up a bit, but leave the bone there. makes everything tastier.
cook that all on like... medium-to-high until the outside of the chicken looks white and maybe some brownish. just... to give the end result FLAVA
now poor 1.5-2 cups of rice (preferably white) on that bitch and mix it all up
make sure the rice is nicely coated in the remaining oil, chicken juice and veggies.
lookin' good? good.
take the stock you were warming up and POUR IT ON TOP
let it boil.
now time to season. a smidge. (don't over salt. that was my error today).
first 2-3 tablespoons of fish sauce
on a side note - i meant to say tablespoon with the oil 2-4 TABLESPOONS of oil in the beginning. ok, back to the present.
so you just poured 3 tablespoons of fish sauce in your concoction.
MIX THAT BITCH.
yum
now pepper it to your desires
salt it to your desires (but i suggest don't... because that's... yeah a bad idea, the fish sauce is it's own kinda salt
now watch it boil
and cover it
and put it on low heat
and let it sit
for like an hour
mixing every 5-10 minutes.
when it's done
chop up some green onion
throw that green friend in there
mix it
then serve it
for some tanginess, throw on a bit of lime juice
yum!

Хе, я это как то упустила.
Но она делала большую кастрюлю, примерно 5 литров.
Чеснока была целая головка.
но вообще должно быть вкусно :) можете я тоже сподвигнусь
Сподвигнись, и правда вкусно.
Ну а почему бы и не быть вкусным, если это похоже на плов :)
